Nov. 5th French Wine Tasting & Walking Dinner
French wine is a world of its own—full of elegance, character, and wonderful surprises. Join us for an enjoyable journey through one of the world’s great wine countries, from celebrated classics to exciting discoveries. This tasting will reveal to a broad selection of high-quality French wines that offer both character and excellent value for money.
From elegant sparkling wines and crisp whites to expressive rosés and richly layered reds, we will explore the diversity of France’s regions, grape varieties, traditions, and modern winemaking. Whether you are already a French-wine enthusiast or simply keen to discover new favourites, this evening promises a convivial introduction to the depth, quality, and enduring appeal of French wine.

We will have French food paired to accompany the wines for 3 courses: an appetizer, main course and dessert. The event will be hosted at the beautiful, listed home of our gracious members Donna and Thatcher Scharpf, and will be led by Jessica Songin-Hurstel, a distinguished sommelier with over a decade of experience introducing European wines to American audiences.
