Meet the Chef!
Each month, we navigate through the paths of our great city to uncover a hidden restaurant gem that we can’t wait to share with you. Culinary delights and libations in hand, we enjoy meeting fellow members and welcoming all guests for a convivial evening together. To top it all off, we have the great opportunity to Meet the Chef, who will come out to our table and share his or her story. Whether new to Brussels – or like all of us at ACB, always new to (re)discovering Brussels, we invite you to join us!
This month’s culinary discovery:
"Maison Sensi"
Maison Sensi is a Concept Store (Restaurant – Wine Bar – Art Gallery – Boutique – Music Hall all in one) located in Sablon, the artistic and cultural heart of Brussels. Just steps away from Palais d’Egmont and Eglise Notre Dame it is an unique meeting place where guests can enjoy the true colors, sounds and flavors of the Mediterranean (in particular, Sicily!).
With an open approach to ideas, innovation and participation, Maison Sensi works to identify producers, artists and artisans who wish to exhibit and share the result of their genius and work into the European market. Maison Sensi offers its guests a voyage for the senses. Its salons have been transformed into friendly spaces where one can enjoy fine food, a coffee or a glass of wine, and relax and chat, in an environment surrounded by artwork and music.
Our diners will get to meet the owner and “soul” of Maison Sensi, Maria de Los Angeles Garcia Butron as well as her daughter, Valentina, the chef who prepares delicious dishes of traditional Sicilian cuisine! Come join us for a delightful dining experience!

Included in the price will be a welcome drink of Prosecco, a starter, main dish and dessert along with water, two glasses of wine, and coffee.
Aperitif: Glass of Prosecco or an Aperol Spritz
Starter: A variety of antipasto dishes to be shared – parmigiana, caponata, peperonata
Entrée: Pasta alla Norma (Pasta with Eggplant and Tomato Sauce) or Pesce Spada (Swordfish plate)
Dessert: Canolo Siciliano
Drinks: mineral or natural water, two glasses of white or red wine, and coffee

- Reservations are due by July 6, noon. Cancellations are possible until noon on 8 July. Participants canceling after this time, as well as no-shows, are charged the full cost of the event.
