Mystery Art January

Join us in discovering and exploring the excellent artists of Europe and beyond as we partner with a different “mystery” art gallery each month. Starting in January we will offer a new series of monthly events to celebrate art in Brussels.
Please join us on Thursday, January 9, for the art gallery opening of a solo show of the works of artist Jorg Brauer. “Inselder Zeit”, translation “Island of Time”, is a collection of Monoliths, Ceps and Icelandic landscapes. The artist will be present during this event.
The exhibition will examine how humans stand in relation to time and space. A dialogue of textures, materials, and different approaches in the perspectives of nature. The exhibition will consist of poetic, conceptual and abstract works, including a photographic series of Icelandic landscapes, which have a fascinating abstract quality called asperity. It will feature a series of work titled Ceps, about roots, ageing and wine, and work from Anthology, a series of paintings about the poetry he sees in nature, along with images from the Monoliths series.
Please note that this event is limited to 20 participants, so please sign-up quickly. The name of the mystery gallery will be “unveiled” upon registration.
