Matthias Honegger  will talk about Climate Intervention, Carbon Dioxide Removal and governance for solar radiation modification research. He is the Climate Intervention Director in Brussels at CFG.EU. With a team of researchers, scientists and policy experts they are looking to find ways to harness emerging technologies to serve the best interests of humanity. He leads a research group focused on policy for the business area Carbon Dioxide Removal. He is also a governance expert on the emerging issue of Solar Radiation Modification (a system of injecting particles into the upper atmosphere to alter weather patterns) to control global warming.
