ACB Gem talk evening with Diamonds and Bubbles

Friday 9 June, 18:30  

Your host Pamela Hastry - gemologist and designer of Morphée Joaillerie - Place du Grand Sablon - will initiate you to the world of gemstones. As a Gemmologist, she will explain the qualities and characteristics of gems, but also the scientific and technological advances throughout history which have developed the shapes and cuts of stones. As a story teller, you will discover the mythes and legends behind the curious lore of stones which have shaped history with passion, through wars and much, much more.

The presentation lasts around 30min, followed by a Q&A. You will also get  a chance to  socialize and enjoy a glass of Chardonnay Meerdael,  Belgian's award winning sparkling wine producer. Finger foods will be provided.

Each bubble glass contains a diamond, but only one is real! At the end of the evening, Pamela will assess all the diamonds and announce who the lucky winner, who keeps the real diamond!
