We are thrilled to announce that our ACB Ommegang dinner is back this year, so mark your calendars for Friday, July 1, 2022!
This is a spectacular affair, and one of the biggest festivals in the country. For the 90th edition of this historic show, the ACB is excited to offer once again members and guests a unique opportunity to view the Ommegang procession on the Grand-Place, while dining in an elegant restaurant.
The parade and show are part of the folklore of Brussels, with 1,400 actors, folk and historic groups, horses, puppet theatre, giants, flags, and more. The celebration honours the coming of Charles the Fifth to Brussels in 1549.
La Chaloupe d’Or is housed in a former 17th century guild house that overlooks the Grand-Place. From the balcony and windows of a large private dining room, we will have an unparalleled view of the Ommegang as the pageant unfolds on one of the most beautiful squares in the world. Bring your camera.

Time: Open cash bar: 7:00 p.m.- Dinner: 8:00 p.m.
Place: La Chaloupe d’Or, Grand-Place 24, 1000 Brussels.
Accessibility: The restaurant is located on the Grand Place so there is no direct access possible for taxis. Dinner is located on the second floor (stairs).
Dress code: Smart casual
Price: €75 for ACB, AWCB, CCB and Irish Club members. Non-members: €85.
Reservations are due by Monday, June 27. Cancellations are possible until noon on Monday, June 27. Participants cancelling after this time, as well as no-shows, are charged the full cost of the event.
