Memorial Day Remembrance Ceremonies
Over one-half million members of the United States Armed Forces lost their lives during World Wars I and II. Over 14,000 are buried or memorialized in Belgium. Help us to honor the members of America’s armed forces who made the ultimate sacrifice for our peace and liberty.
In 2026, the American Overseas Memorial Day Association (AOMDA) will hold Memorial Day ceremonies in Belgium on Saturday, May 23, and Sunday, May 24, 2026, to honor fallen U.S. service members. Key events include ceremonies at Ardennes, Henri-Chapelle, and Flanders Field American cemeteries, often featuring military honors and testimonials.
