How to achieve a successful country move
for the whole family

The workshop is designed to help expats moving in the coming months to a new country or returning to their home country. The workshop will take the form of:

• open discussions about what leaving Brussels means for different members of the family, what you have achieved during your time here, and what you want to remember (and to forget)
• guidance, advice and encouragement – on how to separate the stress of moving from the emotions of leaving, and how to seize the opportunity for change and development
• practical tips – helpful ways to say goodbye and how to celebrate the start of a new stage in your life.

Previous attendees reported that the workshop significantly reduced their anxiety about their upcoming/potential move, and increased their positive, anticipatory feelings about the move.

The workshop will take place at the American Women’s Club of Brussels, Avenue des Erables 1, 1650 Rhode-St-Genèse.

The workshop costs €66 for AWCB members (€80 non-members). Tea/coffee and home baking will be served and lunch will be available at a small additional cost.
