An Italian Wine-Tasting Dinner

 

Join us for an outstanding wine-tasting dinner, organized by ACB member Pinto Billen, a specialist in Italian and Spanish wines (www.saveursdetoscane.be). The event will be held on Wednesday, February 20, at 7:30 p.m. at the restaurant Britxos, one of Brussels’ newest and hottest restos, which we will have all to ourselves. Alessandro Gricciolli de la Tenuta de Montechiaro from Siena will present a series of wines from Tuscany. Four wines will be presented as follows:

• A white wine, Arteliquida 2010, accompanied by a grilled polenta cake with pecorino, salsa di tartufo and porcini mushrooms
• A red wine, Saltimbanco 2011, accompanied by an antipasto of grilled vegetables served with Buffalo mozzarella
• A red wine, Primium 2009, served with a special pasta with wild boar (a Tuscan speciality)
• A red wine, Arteliquida 2010, accompanied by Tuscan bread and selected cured meats and followed by a Tuscan cake

For those interested in purchasing wines, there will be a 15% discount for ACB members, as follows:

Saltimbanco: €12 -15% =	€10.20
Primium: €25 -15% =	€21.25
Arteliquida white: €25 -15% =	€21.25
Arteliquida red: €33 -15% =	€28.05

Sign up: Reservations are due by noon on Friday, February 15 by email (info@americanclubbrussels.org), online at www.americanclubbrussels.org, or by telephone to the ACB Office Manager (02/219.58.08). Payment to ACB at BE55427919588144 (KREDBEBB) will confirm your reservation. Be sure to mention “wine-tasting” in the communications section of the virement. Cancellations are possible until noon on Friday, February 15. Participants canceling after this time, as well as no-shows, are charged the full cost of the event.
