Join us on Thursday, October 8 2020, at 6:00 p.m. for a unique evening of art and a special tour of the current exhibition and the building followed by a reception.
The American Club of Brussels and AmCham Belgium invite you to discover the Kanal – Centre Pompidou , a new, multidisciplinary cultural center in the former Citroën garage on Place de l’Yser in Brussels.
About the Artist:
Painter, sculptor, installation artist, performer, archivist, curator, collector, publisher, gallerist, bookshop owner and more, John M. Armleder is one of the most singular figures and at the same time essential to the art of the past fifty years.
At Kanal – Centre Pompidou, Armleder took over the Showroom areas of the former garage: on the six rough floors, the artist proposes, in dialogue with a series of new monumental installations, a constellation of exhibitions, live events and workshops, offering the opportunity to dive into his world and the one of those he loves.
