The documentary, winner of a historical Emmy Award, features the story of Renée Lemaire, known as Anna. Anna, 'the Forgotten Angel of Bastogne' was born in the Belgian Congo and trained as a nurse in Leuven. The film honors her heroism for risking her life to treat injured soldiers during the Battle of the Bulge.
